Electron

Know About Electron

Electric charge −1.60217×10−19 C ( C for coulomb) or  −4.80320×10−10 esu ( esu for electrostatic unit of charge) .
Discovered by J.J. Thomson in 1897
Mass :- 9.10938×10−31 kg

Many of us know about electron this is a subatomic particle of an atom. In other words electron is one of the three fundamental part of an atom namely (electron , proton, neutron). symbol for electron symbol e . The electron has a mass that is approximately 1/1836 that of the proton. If we move deeper into the electron , the electron is also made up of QUARKS .

Many physical phenomena involve electrons in an essential role, such as electricity, magnetism, and thermal  conductivity, and they also participate in gravitation, electromagnetic and weak interaction.
An electron generates an electric field surrounding it. An electron moving relative to an observer generates a magnetic field. External magnetic fields deflect an electron. Electrons radiate or absorb energy in the form of photons when accelerated. Laboratory instruments are capable of containing and observing individual electrons as well as electron plasma using electromagnetic fields, whereas dedicated telescopes can detect electron plasma in outer space. Electrons have many applications, including electronicsweldingcathode ray tubeselectron microscopesradiation therapylasersgaseous ionization detectors and particle accelerator
